Doreen Andrade-Sales is the youngest of four children born to Mrs. Emma Andrade, a dedicated teacher who served St. John Academy with distinction, teaching History and Economics for over 25 years. Doreen’s deep connection to her alma mater is not only rooted in her mother’s legacy but also in her own educational journey, having been granted a full scholarship for four years and graduating as valedictorian of Class of 1975. Throughout her life, Doreen has actively encouraged her classmates to participate in alumni association activities, fostering a spirit of community and involvement. 

Professionally, Doreen is a distinguished physician specializing in Anesthesiology. She holds the prestigious titles of diplomate of the Philippine Board of Anesthesiology and fellow of the Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists. Since 1990, she has been an active consultant at the Calamba Medical Center and, since 2004, at The Medical City South Luzon.

Doreen is married to Dr. Geronimo Sales, an accomplished orthopedic surgeon, and they have one child, Bea. Beyond her professional and family life, Doreen is a passionate plant enthusiast, proudly identifying as a “plantita” with a modest collection of philodendrons and monsteras.

In the political realm, Doreen voted for Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan in the last presidential elections, motivated by a desire to contribute to positive change in the lives of Filipinos.

Doreen remains committed to supporting her fellow officers in fulfilling the mission and vision of their beloved alma mater, St. John Academy.
