Arminda Cansicio Muya’s journey is one marked by academic excellence, professional dedication, and a steadfast commitment to family.

Arminda’s educational journey began at Lingga Elementary School, where her outstanding academic performance earned her the prestigious title of Valedictorian. This early recognition set the stage for her future achievements.

Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Arminda graduated with honors from St. John Academy for her secondary education. She pursued higher education at the Laguna Institute, earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce majoring in Accounting.

But Arminda’s thirst for knowledge did not stop there. Driven by a passion for justice and a desire to serve her community, she pursued a post-graduate degree in law at San Pablo Colleges, graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of Laws.

Throughout her professional journey, Arminda distinguished herself through her dedication and expertise. She served as a legal secretary at prestigious law firms such as Chipeco and Alcaraz Law Office and Alonzo Law Office.

Her journey in the legal field continued as she served as a court stenographer at the Municipal Trial Court of Los Baños, followed by a role as a court legal researcher at the Regional Trial Court Branch 37 at Calamba city.

After years of dedicated service, Arminda retired from her professional career to focus on managing and handling her personal business ventures.

Beyond her professional achievements, Arminda’s greatest pride lies in her family. She is the proud mother of four accomplished children: Atty. Jenny Vi, a practicing lawyer and businesswoman; Dr. Jonathan, who excels in his profession as an Anaesthesiologist ; Dr. Janice, who has passed board exams in Pharmacy and Physician Licensure and completed her specialization as a Radiologist; and John Ray, a graduate of B.S. Criminology who manages the family’s diverse business interests. 

Arminda Cansicio Muya’s life is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to service. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come, both within her family and in the communities she has touched.
